Many of our patients at Carolina Coastal Plastic Surgery live outside of the Myrtle Beach area. Many travel from out of the state,
and some travel from other countries. Why? Because of Dr. Steven K. White’s expertise, reputation and the personal service he
provides is evident to each and everyone of his patients. Our Surgery Center is accredited by the American Association for
Accreditation of Ambulatory Surgery Facilities, and is conveniently located 10 minutes from the Myrtle Beach International Airport.
Myrtle Beach is a beautiful place to visit, with over 60 miles of warm sandy beaches, it makes a popular vacation choice for
millions of Americans. Many of our patients combine cosmetic surgery with vacations or weekend getaways, offering convenience,
total relaxation and returning home with a refreshed mind and a beautiful new look. We recommend that you call our office to find
out about the availability of specific dates for your consultation or procedure. You may also email our office

procedure that you desire. What can be helpful is sending photographs of the areas of concern so that Dr. White can better address
your needs. Photographs may be emailed or mailed directly to our office anytime prior to any consultations. It is most beneficial
to send both front and side views as well as a back view when applicable. Please include whether or not you have any medical
conditions and any medications, even vitamins or supplements, which you may be taking.
Once your request has been reviewed, our Patient Care Coordinator will call you and discuss your situation with you personally. One
to two weeks before you arrival, our staff will contact you by phone to review pre- and postoperative instructions and to discuss
your local arrangements*. For patients that may require post operative care, our office can arrange for private assistance during
the time of your recovery.
*We can also provide a condominium for your recovery.
Dr. White prefers that patients arrive at least two days prior to surgery. This will give you the opportunity to meet with him
personally and to make all final arrangements with our staff. You should allow sufficient time in Myrtle Beach for your recovery.
Recovery time of course, depends on the extent of surgery you have. In general, most patients are able to travel one week
following surgery.
